The position offers a base+commission structure with a pay scale from $40,000 to $75,000 per year, dependent on performance. Expect a collaborative parts department with organized inventory and modern catalog systems.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience at a Dealership Parts Counter.
• Knowledge of CDK data management system.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of cars and trucks is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts inquiries and purchases.
• Process parts orders, returns, exchanges, warranties, and core returns per dealership procedures.
• Pull and distribute parts for technicians and service personnel.
• Follow dealership safety and operational procedures.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Look up parts using an electronic parts catalog.
• Maintain a clean and neat showroom.
• Discuss parts and other products with enthusiasm.
• Inventory maintenance.
• Understand all aspects of parts department.
• Rotate between front and back counters as needed.
• Assist with other dealership needs as needed.

The monthly Parts Counterperson compensation is expected to range from $40,000 to $75,000.00, depending on job performance/qualifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move frequently throughout the dealership.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and other parts equipment.

• Ability to work safety at heights and in varying weather and environmental conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoor and warehouse environments, which may include varying temperatures and noise levels

Pay Defined: The Parts Counterperson position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.31 plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
