Cherokee Insights is seeking a Counterintelligence and Law Enforcement Specialist – Mid to support the Behavioral Threat Analysis Center (BTAC) in Arlington, VA. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in any field.
• Minimum of twelve years as a sworn federal agent in a Military Criminal Investigation or Military DoW counterintelligence setting.
• Experience with governing directives, counterintelligence and insider threat policies.
• Knowledge of threat assessment, threat management and related investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations on CI/LE authorities, jurisdictions, capabilities and activities to mitigate insider threat across the DoW.
• Support DoW insider threat case analysis and consultations; assist analysts with analytic findings and feedback.
• Draft written assessments from a CI/LE perspective within DoW procedures and timelines.
• Assist PAR-like efforts; ensure CI/LE knowledge across DoW components through written assessments.
• Identify systemic gaps to strengthen DoW insider threat programs and data collaboration.
