Job summary

Cherokee Insights (Insights) is seeking a Counterintelligence and Law Enforcement Specialist - Mid to support insider threat programs within the DoW framework. The role emphasizes review, analysis, and collaboration with DoW and DITMAC to mitigate insider threats and strengthen CI/LE capabilities across DoW components.

The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise, draft assessments, and contribute to policy development while aligning with DoW priorities and CI/LE norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum twelve (12) years as sworn federal agent in Military Criminal Investigation or Military DoW counterintelligence leadership.
• Experience with CI directives, insider threat guidance and policies.
• Ability to collaborate with the CI/LE community.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations on CI/LE authorities, jurisdictions, capabilities, methodologies, and activities to mitigate Insider Threat across DoW.
• Support DITMAC analyses and provide case consultations and feedback to DoW components.
• Prepare written CI/LE assessments within timelines per DITMAC procedures.
• Develop white papers, briefs, and literature to support DoW CI/LE initiatives.
