Job summary

MGM Resorts National Harbor is seeking a Busser/Runner to maintain the dining room, storerooms, food pickup area and beverage station according to cleanliness and stock standards. You will partner with servers to ensure guest service, set tables with silverware and glassware, clear and reset tables, serve water and coffee, and keep the dining area spotless.

Must be at least 18, prior fast-paced restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Previous relevant experience in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE JOB

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$14.93

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
