Job description

Counter-UAS Field Technician - Axon, Puerto Rico

Counter-UAS — countering uncrewed aerial systems — has moved from a niche military concern to a standing requirement at stadiums, prisons, ports, energy sites and major public events. A field technician installs, calibrates and maintains the detection and mitigation equipment on site, and is usually the person who diagnoses why a sensor is not seeing what it should.

Who it suits

Technicians with RF, radar, avionics or communications backgrounds, and drone operators who understand the airspace picture from both sides. Field roles like this travel, and often work around live operations rather than during a maintenance window.
