NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist at Genuine Parts Company in Holcomb, GA seeks team players with a passion for automotive parts and customer service. You will source parts for fleet customers, assist staff, and deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $15.92 per hour, with growth opportunities and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K match, and tuition assistance. Prior parts experience helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High school diploma or GED; technical/trade courses are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong listening and empathy for customers.
• Able to work around an airport environment in a shop setting.

What you will be doing:

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians

• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customer
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications

This position offers a starting hourly rate of $15.92. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
