Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. You will source parts for fleet customers, assist teammates, and deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, experience in a parts store or automotive industry, and a high school diploma or equivalent. ASE certifications and airport-area shop experience are a plus, with opportunities to grow within the NAPA family.

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical/Trade school courses or degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
• High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree

• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in airport ground support equipment
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
