Job summary

Due' Cucina in Redmond is seeking a part-time Counter Server/Front of House to welcome guests and guide them through their dining experience on-site.

You will learn our fresh pasta, assist with menu navigation, and coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely orders. Competitive hourly pay with tips, plus free meals on shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old; alcohol service required.
• Possesses or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Previous restaurant service experience is appreciated, but on-the-job training is offered.

• Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times.
• Learn and master the art of making fresh pasta.
• Familiarize yourself with our menu and guide customers through their Due' experience.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms.
• Ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures in the dining area.
• Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab.
• Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome.
• Other duties as necessary or assigned.

In this role the Counter Server/Front of House will:

• Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms.
• Ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures in the dining area.
• Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns or dissatisfaction with any dish.
• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab, especially after pasta preparation is completed.
• Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome.
• Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• People who enjoy spending time with customers to educate them about our food.
• High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team.
• Passionate about food.
• Minimum 21 years old (alcohol service required).
• Possesses or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and move quickly.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc..
• Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required).
• Previous customer service experience in restaurants is highly appreciated, but if you don't have it, no problem! We will train you. :)
