Job summary

Selland Hospitality’s Selland’s Market Cafe in Sacramento is hiring Counter Server & Cashier team members who deliver outstanding guest service. You will greet guests, share menu knowledge, handle orders and payments, and help maintain a welcoming, sanitary dining area as part of a collaborative team.

The role offers a starting wage of $16.90 per hour (not including tips) with benefits such as free meals on shift, paid time off, holiday pay, and opportunities for advancement within the Selland

Qualifications

• Maintains a positive, attentive and hospitable demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the team.
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Card.
• Availability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Must be at least 18 years old or have valid work permit.
• Reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every guest with a positive demeanor.
• Provide menu and product knowledge to guests.
• Operate as counter server and cashier handling orders and payments.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and uphold service standards.

Position Summary: Counter Server & Cashier team members ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a guest-friendly environment. This includes but is not limited to, greeting and acknowledging every guest in a positive manner, menu and product knowledge, keeping a clean and sanitary environment and all other components of the restaurant’s guest service standards while growing as part of a team!
