Job summary

Stuart Hose & Pipe, a SunSource company, seeks an experienced Counter Sales Specialist to be the face of the branch for walk-in and call-in customers. You’ll help identify components, fabricate assemblies, and manage orders from start to finish, solving problems quickly for contractors and field technicians.

You will work with precise tools, use ERP for quotes and stock checks, and contribute to a clean, safe showroom and warehouse while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies and fittings.
• Ability to read calipers, gauges, and crimp charts accurately.
• Strong understanding of fluid conveyance applications and thread types.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and process counter orders with accuracy.
• Identify parts, assemble hoses, and recommend accessories per requirements.
• Enter tickets, quotes, and transfers using the ERP system; check stock.
• Fabricate and test hose assemblies per customer specs and standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with inventory control.
