Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join our team in a on-site role. The position runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, with hourly pay and bonus potential based on performance.

Responsibilities include advising customers, processing orders, operating cash registers, and maintaining merchandising standards while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Prior experience and basic knowledge of fire protection products are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience preferred.
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection/ fire sprinkler products is a plus.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills.

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
• Processing orders via order management system.
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage and weight capacity limits.

• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $21.68

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
