Job summary

Tacoma Screw Products is seeking a customer-focused Counter Sales Associate for our Caldwell store. You will help customers select, apply, and purchase fasteners, tools, and maintenance supplies in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time hours (40 per week) with a starting pay of $20 per hour and a $20–$24 hourly pay range, plus a discretionary year-end bonus. Excellent benefits after 90 days, including fully covered health plans, 401(k) with match, life insurance, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of retail experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy to process orders and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with product inquiries, special requests, and pricing.
• Identify customer needs, clarify product specifications, and locate or retrieve products.
• Finalize transactions and assist with product shipments when necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Promote company products and services to drive additional sales; maintain a clean, organized storefront.
• Represent TSP as a pillar of the Tacoma Screw way!
