Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool is hiring a Counter Sales Associate for our Dublin, CA branch. You will assist customers in person or by phone, manage orders, and promote related products to grow sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical industry preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical duties.
• Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person or by phone during the sales process and upsell products.
• Enter customer orders accurately in the computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of product catalogs, price sheets, and promotions.
• Explain and promote replacement/alternative products when appropriate.
• Oversee the full sales process from order to billing, delivery and payment.
• Keep the counter and displays organized and safe; stock displays as needed.
• Support warehouse duties including stocking, labeling, restocking, and cycle counts.
• Assist with shipping/receiving processes; train on UPS shipments.
• Occasionally operate a forklift to support warehouse tasks.
