Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool seeks a Counter Sales Associate for our Dublin, CA branch. This full-time role supports customers in person or by phone, processes orders, and promotes complementary products.

We provide a competitive pay range, benefits, and growth opportunities. Monday–Friday schedule, with potential overtime, and a focus on safe, organized showroom and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the electrical industry and/or familiarity with electrical equipment and power tools.
• Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. schedule.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process and upsell complementary products.
• Enter the customer order in the computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of product information, catalogs, price sheets, and promotions.
• Maintain the full sales process from order to delivery and payment.
• Keep the counter and displays tidy; stock displays and prepare refreshments.
• Assist with warehouse duties including stocking, labeling, restocking, and inventory.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes as needed including UPS.
• Occasionally operate a forklift to assist in warehouse duties.
