Alameda Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Associate for our Dublin, CA branch. The role involves assisting customers in person or by phone, entering orders, and promoting products. Competitive pay with benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally experience in electrical supplies or warehouse operations. Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the electrical industry and/or familiarity with electrical equipment and power tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Ability to work a Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. schedule.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during the sales process; upsell complementary products.
• Enter customer orders correctly into the computer system.
• Maintain product knowledge information and promotions; suggest replacements when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of the sales process from order to delivery and payment.
• Keep the counter and product displays organized and safe; stock displays and shelves.
