Job summary

Scott Electric Company in Crafton, PA is seeking a Full-Time Counter Sales Manager to oversee the daily operations of the sales counter, supervise counter staff, and ensure exceptional customer service for contractors, electricians, and walk-in customers.

You will coordinate with warehouse, prepare quotes, process orders, and work with outside sales representatives to grow accounts while maintaining inventory control and a safe showroom environment. 8:00 am–5:00 pm, M-F.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical wholesale distribution or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products, materials, and industry applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the sales counter and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, train, coach, and schedule counter sales associates.
• Prepare accurate quotes, process sales orders, returns, and special orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment and product availability.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and sales growth.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer retention.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe counter and showroom environment.

Scott Electric has a current opening at our Crafton, PA branch for a Full-Time Counter Sales Manager M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm. The Counter Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales counter, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing sales opportunities, and managing counter staff. This role serves as the primary point of contact for contractors, electricians, maintenance professionals, and walk-in customers while maintaining efficient inventory control and operational excellence.
