Job summary

The Granite Group in Waterville, ME is seeking a motivated counter sales associate to join our HVAC and plumbing products team. You will assist customers, answer inquiries, and process transactions with accuracy and care.

In addition to sales, you’ll help with inventory management, stocking shelves, and keeping the area clean and organized while collaborating with teammates to hit service and sales targets. Weekend/evening availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service, retail, or sales experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• HVAC or plumbing knowledge is a plus (not required).

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a counter sales associate. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in HVAC or plumbing products, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a dual-purpose role as you will also assist when needed in the Warehouse.

In this position, you will be a key point of contact for customers-answering inquiries, recommending products, processing transactions, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, stocking shelves, coordinating material transfers between branches and vendors, and maintaining accurate computer records.

The right candidate will enjoy problem-solving, working in a team-oriented environment, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
