HVACR wholesale distributor is seeking a full-time counter sales associate to support our growth and expansion. Candidates with multi-year sales experience in HVAC/R or other industries are welcome, but not required. A genuine enthusiasm for sales and customer interaction is essential. Salary is commensurate with experience. We offer full benefits and a 401K plan.

Essential Job Functions

• Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration—training provided
• Greet customers and answer phones promptly and courteously (note: customers are HVAC contractors, not retail consumers)
• Provide professional assistance by identifying and fulfilling product requests and answering technical questions (training provided)
• Accurately process customer orders, requests, and other services
• Use computer systems to research products, handle invoicing, credits, returns, and procurement/replenishment
• Break down and organize stock
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Assist in keeping the environment clean and safe
• Be willing to work, learn, and enjoy the work environment

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, stretching, and ladder climbing
• Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination for data entry
