We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Overview:
- Installation: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and rooftop units.
- Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance, including cleaning and replacing filters, inspecting and replacing worn or damaged parts, and checking refrigerant levels. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical faults, providing timely resolutions.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with appliance standards and OSHA regulations.
- Emergency repairs: Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests.
- Growth: Stay updated with industry developments and enhance skills through training and professional development.
- Travel: The role involves regular travel within Florida, with a provided vehicle.
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in HVAC technology or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on commercial systems.
- Universal EPA certification required; additional certifications like NATE or R-410A preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Physical stamina for manual labor, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience with brands like Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Bard, Rheem, and York.
- Proficiency in maintaining condensers, air handling units, and RTUs.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality service.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of building systems and components.
- Organizational skills, positive attitude, patience, and flexibility.
- Must pass background check, driving history review, and drug test.
- Reside in Florida and possess a valid driver’s license.
