Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Counter Sales Associate/Backup Delivery Driver (CDL B) in Aurora, IL. You will sell industrial gases and welding supplies, support customers, and back up delivery operations.

CDL B with HazMat endorsement is required; be prepared to lift heavy cylinders and work outdoors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid holidays and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL B with HazMat endorsement.
• 1 year of verifiable commercial driving within the last 5 years.
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs., occasionally more than 100 lbs.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification required.

Responsibilities

• Sell industrial gases, welding supplies, and related equipment.
• Assist customers via email, phone, and in person.
• Load/unload cylinders, operate forklifts, backup driver as needed.
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages.
• Handle accounts receivable and ensure paperwork accuracy.
