Spectrum Paint Company is seeking a Counter Sales Associate in Bartlesville, OK. The role supports store operations and helps customers with paint and material selections. Some deliveries may be required to meet customer needs.

Store hours 7:00 am–5:00 pm (Mon–Fri) and 8:00 am–4:00 pm on Saturdays; Sundays closed. Flexible scheduling available. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with product questions and orders, tinting paint, processing transactions, and stocking.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and advise customers in product selection and usage.
• Assist customers by phone and in-store with questions and orders for architectural, commercial, and industrial paint products.
• Prepare orders by mixing and tinting paint to specifications.
• Identify and match paint colors accurately.
• Process cash and credit card transactions and maintain a cash drawer.

Description

Position Summary: As a Counter Sales Associate you will support store operations by providing exceptional customer service while assisting our customers with paint and material selections. May make deliveries as needed for customer requirements.

Store hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday. Closed on Sundays! Flexible scheduling!

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and advise customers in the selection of products and their uses
• Assist customers over the phone and in the store with questions and orders regarding architectural, commercial, and industrial paint products and coating materials
• Prepare orders by mixing/tinting paint to the customer's specifications
• Accurately identify and match paint colors
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions while properly maintaining a cash drawer
• Assist with inventory and processing of incoming stock
• Load and unload materials for customers
• Load and unload the delivery vehicles as needed
• Occasionally deliver products to customers safely and efficiently using a company vehicle
• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the products and services
• Collaborate with coworkers and management to maintain a smooth workflow
• Miscellaneous tasks around the paint store, such as stocking, cleaning, etc.

This job requires the physical requirements of standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, and carrying the product to and from the delivery and customer vehicles, as well as to areas within the store.
