Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a sales associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help choose products for home improvement projects. You’ll uphold showroom standards, process orders and payments, and support the sales team with quotes and upselling opportunities.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and basic knowledge of products and construction methods. Full-time, benefit-eligible positions with opportunities for training and growth are available at our Oregon

Qualifications

Minimum education of High School or equivalent.
1-2 years sales experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to work as a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist and serve customers to provide an exceptional experience.
Answer questions and help customers select products for projects.
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and address needs promptly.
Assist with store showroom cleanliness and product presentation.
Process orders, payments and returns; support sales team with larger quotes.
Work with inside sales to grow house accounts and upsell where appropriate.
Maintain product knowledge and support basic project estimates.
