Job summary

Capital Electric, a Capital Electric distributor in Upper Marlboro, MD, is seeking a Counter Sales associate to sell products, assist customers with selections, and develop relationships to stay the Electrical Distributor of Choice.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, sales/electrical knowledge preferred, strong math and communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer phone calls.
• Greet walk-in customers.
• Assist customers with product selection.
• Pick customer orders from warehouse and bring to counter.
• Prepare customer sales tickets and process payment.
• Promote and sell promotions.
• Support warehouse functions as needed.
• Meet monthly sales and gross margin goals.
