Arnold Lumber Company is seeking a Counter Sales associate to support daily customer interactions at the Westerly, RI location. The role focuses on greeting customers, processing orders, quotes, and cash transactions using the POS system.

As an entry-level to junior role, you will assist with stock, inventory counts, and product information while working toward seamless service at the sales counter. A high school diploma and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• 1+ years of Customer Service/Sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of store products and materials helpful.

Responsibilities

• Staff the sales counter, greet and service customers.
• Enter orders, process sales transactions, and quotes.
• Stock shelves and perform cycle counts; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Provide product information and literature to customers.
• Direct customers to team members for quotes or special orders.
• Maintain store housekeeping and overall curb appeal.
