Johnstone Supply | Balsan Group in Portland, ME seeks a high-energy Counter Sales Associate to assist customers with HVAC products and applications. You will handle sales, provide pricing and availability details, and support inventory and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork, with growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding HVAC distributor.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer and software proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical counter/warehouse tasks.
• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience.
• HVAC industry experience.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist customers in finding the right HVAC products.
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and application.
• Provide timely, professional support for customer inquiries and concerns.
• Recommend solutions based on customer needs.
• Provide accurate inventory availability information.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Generate new and repeat business through strong product knowledge.
• Provide pricing, quotes, discounts, and tax calculations.
• Upsell additional products and solutions when appropriate.
• Follow up on sales inquiries and leads to drive additional business.

• Refer more complex technical issues to TSA or appropriate team members.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.

Counter Sales Associate

What You’ll Do

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in finding the right HVAC products
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and application
