Job summary

Pacific Plumbing Supply in Helena, MT is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Associate to join our team. You will assist wholesale customers with orders, pricing, and product information while maintaining a professional, customer-focused demeanor.

The role requires 1–3 years in counter sales or warehouse work within wholesale distribution, knowledge of plumbing products, and basic computer/order-entry skills. We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a robust 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor and epitomize core values with first-in-class customer service.
• Communicate professionally by phone and in person with wholesale customers to assist orders and purchases.
• Ensure all paperwork is coded, priced, and processed; maintain accuracy in accounting and credit procedures.
• Coordinate with branch manager and purchasing on product shortages or outages.
• Safely pull orders, load/unload delivered products and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean warehouse with general housekeeping.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure deadlines are met.
• Serve as backup driver when qualified and perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join the Pacific Plumbing Supply team in our Helena location!

What you will do

• Maintain a professional demeanor and epitomize our Core Values of first-in-class customer service.
• Communicate professionally by phone and in person with wholesale customers to assist them with their orders and purchases.
• Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed; including coding, costing and pricing and that all administrative, accounting and credit related procedures are strictly observed.
• Communicate with branch manager and purchasing regarding any product shortages or outages.
• Safely pull orders, load, unload and check-in delivered product and stock shelves, as needed.
• Help to maintain a safe, neat and clean warehouse by performing general housekeeping duties as required.
• Work with all department staff to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Perform duties of backup driver when necessary (if qualified) and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in counter sales and as a warehouse associate in the wholesale distribution industry.
• Prior knowledge of plumbing products & supplies and the local plumbing supply market preferred.
• Computer skills and/or knowledge of computer order entry system.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
