You will handle transactions at the register, use cataloging systems, and communicate benefits, warranty information, and product applications to customers. Weekend availability and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior Heavy Duty parts background or knowledge is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal).
• A positive attitude and great personal drive.
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment.
• Availability to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in-person or via telephone.
• Operate a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems; process daily paperwork.
• Communicate features, benefits and warranty information to customers.
• Promote current sales promotions.
• Present a professional conduct and appearance at all times.
• Provide technical advice on products and applications and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Support sales, process customer stock orders.
• Assist outside salespersons as needed.

Traction counter sales employees perform a variety of duties. Primarily greet and assist customers, provide technical advice, promote the current sales promotion.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers with their parts questions and needs (either in-person or via telephone)
• Operating a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems and processing daily paperwork and forms
• Effectively communicating features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Effectively communicate current sales promotions
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications ( give technical advice, troubleshoot, and help solve customers’ problems
• Provide sales support, process customer stock orders
• Assist outside salesperson, as needed
• Perform all other associated tasks assigned by management
