Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Counter Sales professional with backup non-CDL driver duties at the Sanford, FL location. The role focuses on accurate order entry, exceptional customer service, and smooth interactions with clients.

You will multitask across orders, inventory, and coordinating deliveries; overtime may occur during peak seasons. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual ability is a plus, and a willingness to pass background checks

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
• Assist with counter sales and warehouse duties as backup when not driving.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries with precision to support timelines.
• Participate in cycle counts, order picking, staging, and shipping/receiving to aid inventory.

Job description

Heritage Landscape supply is seeking a full-time Counter Sales with back up non CDL driver duties that is a key customer touchpoint, responsible for accurate order entry and smooth customer interactions. The position requires strong multitasking skills, including processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating logistics to support delivery timelines. This full‑time role runs Monday through Friday, with overtime during peak seasons, requiring flexibility and dedication.

Minimum Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service by effectively interacting with clients through phone, email, and in-person consultations, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Driver Associate with counter sales duties as backup duties.
• Able to assist with counter sales and warehouse duties as backup when not driving.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system to ensure efficient and precise order fulfillment.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes, utilizing customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs with accuracy.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries with precision, ensuring optimal logistics and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to inventory management by participating in cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving activities.
• Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order entry.
• Capability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Full time Non CDL Driver responsibilities in a non-regulated truck with backup counter and warehouse duties.
• Ability to work in varied conditions, including warehouse/outdoor environments.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during peak season.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug test, driving and background screening.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, not mandatory.
• A high school diploma or equivalent of experience and education.
