Job summary

Kith Treats Hawaii is seeking a Counter Associate to be the face of the shop, delivering friendly service and visually captivating desserts. This role requires open and flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Open & flexible availability is required, with evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid ServSafe or Food Handler certificate, 1–2 years in food/beverage, and cash handling experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer experience with dessert presentation.
• Plate and present desserts with plating & presentation techniques.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Manage inventory levels between customers for readiness.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Stay updated on brand activations and partnerships.
• Follow all Food & Safety policies and company procedures.
• Support scheduling needs and assist with housekeeping.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Hawaii store Status: Part-Time Compensation: $18.00-$19.00/hr + Commission(s)* & Tip eligibility

Position Summary: The Kith - Treats Counter Associate is the face of the Kith Treats shop. They are personable, friendly, and focused on delivering a first in class experience to all new and returning Kith-Treats customers. They are passionate about desserts and committed to delivering a best-in-class experience capped off with a beautifully assembled TREAT!

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuously providing an exceptional experience for each of our Treats customers, capped off with a visually captivating and equally delicious dessert.
• Practicing and mastering the plating & presentation techniques used on each one of our creations.
• Clean and maintain industrial kitchen equipment.
• Using time between customers to manage inventory levels, to ensure we are always prepared.
• Applying our iconic “Swirl” to our highly sought-after desserts.
• Proactively communicating inventory needs with management.
• Remaining updated on all company activations, as well as any brand partnerships.
• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all Food & Safety processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to availability and scheduling needs of the business.
• Assist Shops Management team with housekeeping responsibilities, which include but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collecting trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
• Assist Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
• License(s)/Certificate(s): Valid ServSafe or Food Handler's certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a food/beverage position 1+ years in a customer facing position is preferred 1+ years of cash handling is preferred.
• Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform business math Ability to multi-task Efficient communication Ability to lift and move 30lbs. Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
