Job summary

Beyond Bread in Tucson, AZ is seeking a friendly Cashier and Food Runner to greet customers, take orders, and keep service moving smoothly. You’ll work in a fast-paced, scratch-house environment with daytime hours and flexible schedules.

Enjoy a team-focused setting, free meals on shift, and friendly coworkers as you help create a great guest experience. Team members participate in a tip pool and can earn $15–$16/hour after training, with full-time benefits like health, dental and vision

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at counter or by phone.
• Assist customers in choosing menu items and upsell when appropriate.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain Cleanliness of dining area and bus tables as needed.
• Support catering and to-go orders; work well with teammates.

All team members are included in our Team Tip Pool and make $15-$16/hr after training!

What will you do?

Greet and take customer orders at the counter or via phone with the goal of making their day

Assist customers in deciding between our incredible menu options

Recommend items that will round out their meal

Stay current with menu changes and rotating specials

Follow all cash handling and POS procedures

Have fun working closely with your teammates to serve up delicious soups, sandwiches and salads quickly

Ensure appearance and cleanliness standards are met in the dining area and clear tables to make room for new diners

Aid and support catering and to-go orders

Follow all sanitation and health policies and procedures
