Job summary

Caesars Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Count Room/Cashier role responsible for the collection, counting, and reconciliation of currency and gaming chips. You will assist in slot and table game drops, perform mechanically assisted counts, and ensure secure handling of funds in a fast-paced casino environment.

The ideal candidate can maintain a high level of accuracy while working 8–12 hour shifts, possess strong guest service and communication skills, and be able to obtain a valid gaming

Responsibilities

• Maintain protection of currency and chips with extreme care and attention to detail.
• Assist in drop by collecting currency and chips from gaming devices per procedures.
• Count contents of table drop boxes and bill validator boxes to verify amounts.
• Ensure proper controls to protect counted receipts.
• Report observations to Count Room Supervisor and transfer documentation daily.
• Prepare funds for transfer to Main Bank with appropriate documentation.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, responsible for the collection and counting of currency and chips derived from gaming devices.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

(The following statements are intender as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for specific positions).

• Maintain protection of extremely large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail.
• Assist in slot and table games drop by collecting currency and chips derived from gaming devices in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct a mechanically assisted count of the contents of the table drop boxes to determine, by table, the amount of the drop and the win.
• Conduct a mechanically assisted count of the contents of the bill validator boxes.
• Ensure procedures and proper controls are followed to protect counted receipts.
• Maintain awareness of changes and/or problems which may affect the security of the currency in the Count Room and report observances to the Count Room Supervisor.
• Count and reconcile total funds to ensure the integrity of the count.
• Transfer the corresponding documentation to the Revenue Audit Department on a daily basis.
• Prepare funds, with proper documentation for transfer of funds to the Main Bank.
• Conduct all facets of the count from the opening of the boxes, counting of the drop, verification of documentation and bundling of currency to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
