Caesars Entertainment is hiring Count Room Staff for Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino to handle count room functions and money handling with accuracy and integrity.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, basic math, and the ability to work complex shifts. You will maintain equipment, perform cash-reconciliation tasks, and support safety and regulatory compliance while delivering quality guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior coin room experience (casino or bank) is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Basic mechanical (repair) skills helpful and preferred
• Must be flexible and able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to communicate in a friendly and respectable manner
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
• Must present a well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to maneuver in and around all areas of the casino.
• Must be able to work effectively in high traffic areas
• Must be able to push and pull carts up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. of boxes.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 7 hours) of time.
• Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright light
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Responsabilidades

• Transfers carts to and from the Count Room and sets Bill Validator Boxes in the appropriate slot machines.
• Performs the daily Bill Validator collection process.
• Collection, sorting, and accounting of various monies for multiple departments.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance of Count Room equipment.
• Notifies Count Room Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Adheres to safety, security, regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Cooperative while working with employees within the department, as well as other departments.
• Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion
• Able to provide superior guest service and capability to deal with difficult interactions
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
