Job summary

Grand River Casino in Mobridge, SD seeks a dependable Count Team member to perform scheduled hard and soft drop counts of slots, tables, arcade/pay phones and tip boxes, ensuring accuracy. You will record results, batch money by denominations, and maintain logbooks for equipment.

The role requires 21+ years old, eligibility for Standing Rock license, and vision standards. Prior casino exposure preferred; lifting up to 60 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal “Key” license.
• Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled hard and soft drop/counts of the slots, tables, arcade/pay phones and tip boxes ensuring that counts are accurate.
• Record the results of the various Drops according to drop/count policy and procedures manual.
• Record the contents of each stacker box, batch money by denominations, ensuring match between manual count and computer print-out.
• Maintain clean count equipment daily and keep a maintenance log for all machines.
• Drop the sports betting kiosks in accordance with the slot drop policies and procedures.

Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal “Key” license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.EXPERIENCE: Three months experience in the casino environment preferred. Must be able to administer professional communication skills with internal and external guests and ensure confidentiality.PHYSICAL: Must be physically able to withstand (for long periods) continued walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting for periods of 8 hours or more and lift 60 pounds or more. Bending, pushing/pulling a heavy cart. Grasping, hand and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and color acuity.
