Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Count Team member at our Kentucky location. The role involves collecting cash and gaming drops, transporting them to the Count Room, and ensuring key control procedures are followed.

Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, experience with Excel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment. A LA gaming license is required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash and ticket cassettes from slot machines and monies from table game drop boxes.
• Transport all collected boxes to the Count Room and count room equipment.
• Sign out keys for count and drop duties to ensure key control procedures.
• Count table drops accurately and reconcile paperwork to system reports.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash and ticket cassettes from slot machines and monies from table game drop boxes.
• Transport all collected boxes to the Count Room.
• Signs out keys for count and drop duties to ensure key control procedures are followed.
• Accurately counts table drops and reconciles paperwork to the system reports for table transactions.
• Responsible for operating currency counters, adding machines, and other auditing functions.
• Completes daily maintenance of all count room equipment as well as cleaning of count room.
• Ensures company assets are properly accounted for and secured.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; six months to one year of Count Team experience preferred but not required.
• Basic mathematical skills; 10-Key calculator experience a plus!
• Must obtain LA gaming license.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, pull, and carry heavy boxes throughout duration of shift.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
