Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Casino - Bossier City, La. is seeking a Count Team Associate responsible for the collection and counting of currency and chips from casino games and devices.

In the absence of the Count Team Supervisor, you will directly supervise Drop/Count Team members and support the supervisor's duties. You will also sign out keys for count and drop duties, maintain compliance with Gaming Commission regulations and company policies, and perform all other duties as assigned to ensure

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• A combination of experience or training will be considered.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Count Team experience with supervisory exposure is preferred.
• Excellent internal and external guest service skills are required.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Counting large sums of cash and chips is essential; basic computer skills including 10-Key are used.

EDUCATIONAL REQUISITIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of Count Team experience with 1 year of Supervisor experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Must have excellent internal and external guest service skills.
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Skills in using computer programs and 10-Key calculator.
• Must be able to count large sums of cash and chips. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.
