Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Count Room Associate to accurately collect and count hard and soft drop for slot machines and reconcile table drops with system reports. The role emphasizes precise cash handling, adherence to internal controls, and professional customer interactions on a casino floor.

The position requires ample attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work within a fast-paced, 24-hour environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the collection and count of hard and soft drop for slot machines with a focus on accuracy.
• Accurately count table drop and reconcile paperwork to system reports for table transactions; report discrepancies.
• Operate cash counting equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Comply with cash handling procedures and internal controls of the Count Room.
• Maintain understanding of information security policies and Acceptable Use Policy.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Complete all required SGC trainings within nine months.
• Attend meetings and adapt to schedule changes (24-hour cycle).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1. Perform the collection and count of hard and soft drop for slot machines with the focus on accuracy.
2. 2. Accurately count table drop and reconcile paperwork to the system reports for table transactions. Report any discrepancies to the Income Audit Department.
3. 3. Responsible for operating cash counting equipment.
4. 4. Complete all necessary paperwork.
5. 5. Comply with all cash handling procedures and the Internal Controls specific to the Count Room.
6. 6. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
7. 7. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
8. 8. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
9. 9. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
10. 10. Attend all necessary meetings.
11. 11. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

1. 1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. 2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
3. 3. Previous cash handling experience as asset.
4. 4. Adept with mechanical devices is an asset.

1. 1. Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
2. 2. Continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift, and push/pull
3. 3. Continuously carry up to ten (10) pounds, and lift up to twenty-four (24) pounds.
4. 4. Occasionally climb heights and reach above shoulder level.
5. 5. Frequently carry twenty-four (24) pounds and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
6. 6. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

Salary Starting Rate:

$16.00 Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education. Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
