Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Danville, VA is hiring a Cash Handling Associate to drop and count casino revenues, sort currency, coins, and chips, and log counts into PC systems. You will help maintain accurate treasury records and ensure secure storage of drop containers while following MIC guidelines.

The role requires 21+, fluency in English, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Flexible shifts, including weekends, are available; the hourly rate is $17.0.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certifications including Virginia Lottery Gaming Permit.

Responsibilities

• Collects and counts revenue from various drop sources per MIC and departmental guidelines.
• Counts, sorts, and organizes currency, coins, coupons, chips and related paperwork.
• Retrieves drop boxes and stores all boxes and carts securely.
• Loads currency counters, uses counter interface, and reconciles counted funds.
• Totals all cash, coins, chips and other monies; reconciles documents by shift/date.
• Enters count information into PC-based applications; prints and signs documents.
• Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion; ensures MIC compliance.
• Communicates currency counter maintenance needs to vendors/IT.
• Follows safety and security guidelines; performs additional duties as assigned.

• Collects and counts revenue from various drop sources per MIC and departmental guidelines
• Counts, sorts, and organizes all currency, coins, coupons, chips, and paperwork from the drop containers
• Retrieves drop boxes from the storage areas and appropriately stores all boxes and carts
• Loads currency counters, utilizes the counter interface, and collects, sorts and reconciles counted funds
• Straps and hand-stamps money bundles
• Totals all cash, coins, chips, coupons and other monies, and reconciling documents by shift and by day/date
• Enters count information into various PC-based applications. Printing, signing all documents, verifying accuracy
• Accounts for all count room keys and ensures compliance with MIC requirements
• Communicate currency counter maintenance required to vendor technicians and IT service requests.
• Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Follows safety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures
• Additional duties as assigned

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Work in an environment containing loud noises, flashing lights, and second hand smoke

Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour
