What You’ll Do

The Count Team Manager is responsible for managing all count team activities and processes in accordance with established policies and procedures; ensures accuracy of daily gaming drop to amounts recorded in KCMS - slot accounting system; investigates and reconciles drop variances and problems; creates and processes team schedules, payroll and performance documents; trains team members on count procedures, processes, and MICS.

What You’ll Do

The Count Team Manager is responsible for managing all count team activities and processes in accordance with established policies and procedures; ensures accuracy of daily gaming drop to amounts recorded in KCMS - slot accounting system; investigates and reconciles drop variances and problems; creates and processes team schedules, payroll and performance documents; trains team members on count procedures, processes, and MICS.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

  • Responsible for overseeing and directing the daily drop and count operations.
  • Manage count team including count operations, MICS, policy & procedure training, scheduling, performance reviews, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Monitors the count team during the count and drop process to assure that all procedures and processes are being performed correctly.
  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of all count room transactions and reports.
  • Facilitates the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all Count team members.
  • Assists as needed in daily gaming drops, counts, and reconciliation of gaming revenues and variances.
  • Works with other departments to reconcile count room variances, issues and problems.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and priorities of the Count team department.
  • Completes and maintains all records, documents, forms, reports and other required paperwork applicable to Count team personnel, processes, and transactions.
  • Responsible for the purchasing of count room supplies and equipment in coordination with Purchasing.
  • Responsible for general upkeep and condition of the count room, equipment, and correspondence with maintenance and repair vendors and their staff
  • Other count room duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position supervises the Count team at property.

Requirements

  • Minimum three to five (5) years of experience in Count team management
  • Supervisory experience in a high-volume casino operation
  • Proficiency in computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint a plus)
  • Proficiency in 10-key, currency counters, sorters, general office equipment and casino system
  • Excellent reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to write reports, department procedures and correspondence
  • A high level of interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive with an attention to details
  • Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • At least 21 years of age

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a similar casino environment.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly walking and standing
  • Constant hearing, seeing and talking
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion and stooping
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, unassisted in the performance of specific tasks as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
  • Close spaces while working with others.

PAY RANGE

  • The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $62,000 annual.
