Overview

The Count Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Nevada Gaming Regulations related to all Count Room Operations. They will oversee the daily operations and supervise all activities within the Count Department, while providing high-level professional and personalized guest service that aligns with the Company’s brand standards and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and participate in the Count Room functions, ensuring the integrity of the count and compliance with Gaming regulations.
  • Distribute daily work assignments to the Count Team.
  • Perform interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and disciplinary functions for the team.
  • Collaborate with Cage Supervisors, Slot Supervisors, and Casino Shift Managers to address issues.
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventory.
  • Act as liaison between the Count Room and other departments.
  • Investigate variances or exceptions to mitigate fraud risks.
  • Work flexible hours for meetings or conferences outside normal shifts.
  • Handle money accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage drop and count operations for tickets, ATMs, arcade revenue, and repair games as needed.
  • Maintain reports for revenue areas, vending inventories, and vendor relations.
  • Oversee slot drop and counts in compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board laws.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and coaching teams.
  • Knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board standards for drop and count.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and relevant software, including Bally’s CMP and SDS programs.
  • Minimum age 21; ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; five years’ experience in a count room, with at least three in a supervisory role.
  • Basic math skills and ability to understand policies and procedures.
