Overview
The Count Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Nevada Gaming Regulations related to all Count Room Operations. They oversee daily operations and supervise activities within the Count Department, while demonstrating high levels of professional and personalized guest service aligned with the Company’s brand standards and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in the Count Room functions, ensuring the integrity of the count and compliance with Gaming regulations.
- Distribute daily work assignments to the Count Team.
- Handle interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and disciplinary actions for the Count Team and Vending personnel.
- Collaborate with Cage Supervisors, Slot Supervisors, and Casino Shift Managers to address issues promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and adequate inventory of supplies.
- Act as a liaison between the Count Room and other departments, providing necessary assistance.
- Investigate variances or exceptions to mitigate fraud risks.
- Maintain flexibility in work schedule for meetings or conferences outside normal hours.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy when handling money.
- Manage drop and count procedures for ticket redemption machines, ATMs, arcade revenue, and repair games as needed.
- Maintain reports related to revenue areas like Vending and Arcade.
- Oversee vending inventories and revenue in the absence of vending attendants.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment purchases and maintenance.
- Supervise slot drop and counts across all Gaming departments, ensuring compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements to perform satisfactorily:
- Proven ability to manage and develop motivated teams through training and coaching.
- Knowledge of Nevada Gaming Control Board standards related to drop and count processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Efficiency and independence in work, with consistent quality results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and other relevant software.
- Ability to use a 10-key calculator proficiently.
- Proficiency in Bally’s CMP and SDS programs.
- Minimum age of 21 and ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years’ experience in a count room environment, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role.
- Basic mathematical skills for position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills with guests, employees, and management.
- Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
