Compassionate Clinical Supervisor Needed Blairsville, GA

Position Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor or Counselor Supervisor will supervise Counselors and Counselor Interns providing treatment and casework services to patients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and BayMark's policies and procedures. The supervisor will ensure timely documentation based on the plan of care, identify patients' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, and manage related expenditures responsibly within the company's budget.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise Counselors and Counselor Interns in providing treatment and casework services, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on the plan of care.
  3. Identify additional physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of assigned patients.
  4. Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
  5. Manage expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner according to the company's budget.
  6. Travel as necessary.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Treatment Center Director.
Qualifications:
  • Must be certified in Georgia as CAC II or CMAC.
  • Experience supervising associate-level counselors and developing/update treatment plans.
  • Proficiency with tracking tools like spreadsheets (Excel, pivot tables).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance reviews, peer audits, and CARF requirements.
  • Prefer credentialing with Alliance and Cardinal MCOs.
  • Prefer experience with authorization processes for MCOs.
  • Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills with staff and patients.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
