Job summary

CFG Health Network in Willingboro, NJ is seeking a Counselor for a 10-month partial hospitalization program. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm at 1113 Hospital Dr, Willingboro, NJ 08046, with a $20.00–$22.00 per hour pay and full benefits.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field and experience with children in behavioral and mental health. The counselor will provide direct care and manage the patient population at the partial care treatment center.

Qualifications

• BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
• Experience with children in behavioral and mental health.
• Provides for direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
• All other duties as assigned.
