Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is a leading behavioral health provider focused on addiction treatment, mental health recovery, and related modalities. This role provides leadership and support to counselors for all clinical services in alignment with facility standards and the program’s clinical philosophy.

The position involves coordinating care with internal providers, managing a portion of the caseload, and ensuring documentation and licensing compliance while supporting program scheduling and aftercare

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with licensure or pursuing licensure (CAADC/CADC).
  • Bachelor-level with CADC progression or related certification with clinical experience.
  • High school or equivalent with related credential in healthcare may apply depending on role.

Summary

Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors for all clinical services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with clinical philosophy of program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitates group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum as needed.
  • Carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary.
  • Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
  • Work closely to coordinate care with internal treatment providers regarding evaluation of client needs and/or medication management as appropriate.
  • Manages client files by conducting scheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met.
  • Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings.
  • Assists staff and program scheduling as needed.
  • As needed, conducts insurance reviews and assessments.
  • Supports with intake process with new clients into program as applicable.
  • Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs as applicable.
  • Oversees Family Programming including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming as deemed appropriate.
  • Provide recommendations and assist in coordination of aftercare planning for clients.
  • Assist Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director with clerical duties and any other duties as assigned.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information
  • Completion of all requiredtrainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide training and day-to-day guidance to the clinical assessment team.

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with aMaster’slevel licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professionalcounseling), or certification by astate widecertification board (CAADC).
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards aMaster’slevel licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by astate widecertification board (CAADC)
  • Bachelorslevel with a CADCor areworking towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.
  • Associates level with a CAAC or working towards a CAAC with a minimum of two years of qualifying clinical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
  • Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing andone year of qualifying clinical experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
