Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare seeks a qualified clinician to oversee and facilitate all clinical services per facility standards and clinical philosophy. The role includes individual/ family sessions, group therapy, and coordination with the treatment team to meet treatment goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining client records, supporting utilization reviews, and contributing to aftercare planning. Strong licensure and CADC-related credentials are required, with opportunities for growth within Pyramid

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling with licensure (CAADC).
  • Master’s degree with licensure in progress or CADC certification preferred.
  • Bachelor level with CADC or pursuing CADC and 1 year of qualifying clinical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC.
  • Current RN licensure with a nursing degree and 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates clients and family needs and collaborates with the treatment team on goals.
  • Facilitates individual and family sessions, groups, and outpatient referrals.
  • Maintains clinical records and documentation per policy.
  • Provides UR support and participates in utilization review processes.
  • Participates in aftercare planning and outcome data collection.
  • Contributes to curriculum development and training aligned with philosophy.
  • Participates in on-call rotation as directed.
  • Conduct Level of Care Assessments and maintain a safe environment.

Summary

Responsible for facilitating all clinical services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with clinical philosophy of program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Evaluates behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members and consults with treatment team regularly for the development of and progress towards treatment goals in accordance with clinical policy and accreditation guidelines.
  • Facilitates all clinical services for clients including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact as applicable.
  • Responsible for maintaining clinical record for clients with appropriate documentation of clinical services and client program engagement in ECR in accordance with program policy.
  • Provides documentation and support for utilization review in a timely way and participates in UR process as outlined in program policy.
  • Participates in aftercare plan development and outcome data process as applicable.
  • Contributes to program specific curriculum development, literature review, and training in accordance with clinical philosophy.
  • Participates in on call rotation as directed by supervisor and in accordance with program policy.
  • Conduct Level of Care Assessments as required.
  • Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
  • Complete all required trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Licensure, Education, & Experience

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling ), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board(CAADC)
  • Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC
  • Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of qualifying clinical experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, stand, walk stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.
