Job summary

Columbia Community Mental Health seeks a Counselor II to provide community-based therapy services for youth within the Youth and Family program. The role works on a multidisciplinary team serving higher acuity youth and their families.

The position supports CCMH’s Outpatient Clinic with assessments and counseling, while collaborating across departments to deliver quality care. A Master’s degree is required and QMHP certification or MHACBO registration is strongly preferred.

Position:Counselor II

Department: Youth and Family (YFD)

Shift:Individual schedules can be determined with supervisor and within business needs/hours. In general, our agency provides services Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Salary Range:$68,057.60 to $86,008.00 (Annually). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements:Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required. Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Summary: The Counselor II Clinician provides community-based therapy services to youth enrolled in CCMH's Youth and Family program.
