Job summary

Amity Foundation is an internationally acclaimed Teaching, and Therapeutic Community seeking compassionate individuals to join as Counselor II/III. You will work with prison and re-entry programs delivering rehabilitative services and gaining field experience.

The role involves facilitating CBI classes, individual sessions, documenting progress, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff. On-site, full-time position with hourly wages, starting around $33.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Required: Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor OR Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
