Job summary

Amity Foundation in Delano, California, seeks compassionate counselors for Counsel II/III roles within its ISUDTP framework. Certified AOD counselors, with Counselor III requiring one year of full-time experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one year of full-time experience.
• Must be certified to be considered (CAADE, BBS, CADTP, CCAPP).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to participants.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participation and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
