Job summary

Amity Foundation in North Carolina seeks a compassionate Counselor II to deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. You will facilitate CBI classes, conduct sessions, and document progress to support release planning and recovery goals.

The position requires a High School Diploma, an AOD certification, and strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and ARMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current AOD certification recognized by the DHCS.
• Understanding of substance abuse causes, symptoms and effects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in ISUDTP.
• Facilitate CBI classes using approved curriculum.
• Document progress and service delivery in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce program norms.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CDCS staff and partners.
