Job summary

Amity Foundation in California is seeking compassionate individuals for Counselor II/III roles within a teaching and therapeutic community. The position delivers face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the ISUDTP, facilitates CBI classes, conducts sessions, and documents participant progress within ARMS.

Responsibilities include daily engagement, maintaining group norms, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor required for Counselor II; Counselor III requires one year of full-time AOD counseling experience.
• Experience facilitating evidence-based curricula and counseling sessions is expected.

• Deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
• Facilitate CBI classes using standardized curriculum for participants.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document participant progress.
• Document delivery of CBI services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institutions, and contracted staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About The Position

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). What You Will Do:

What You Will Bring

• Education and Experience:

Required

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
