Job summary

Castle Partial Care Willingboro is seeking a Counselor for a 10-month program in Willingboro, NJ. The role supports children and adolescents in a PHP setting, Monday through Friday, days, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour plus full benefits.

Qualifications include a BA in Psychology or related field and experience with youth in behavioral health. Responsible for direct care, group facilitation, and accurate documentation in the patient records.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in behavioral/mental health.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
• All other duties as assigned.

MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
